eSIM: Activation and Compatibility Guide

Welcome to Wundle Mobile! We are excited to provide you with our new eSIM service. No more waiting for physical SIM cards to arrive in the mail – with Wundle Mobile, you can instantly connect to our network. Our eSIM service isn't limited to just smartphones; tablets and other compatible smart devices can also connect via eSIM. Additionally, you can enjoy the benefits of dual-SIM functionality by using an eSIM alongside a traditional physical SIM on your device.

Important Compatibility Note: Please note that not all smart devices are eSIM compatible. Below you will find the list of devices currently supported by Wundle Mobile.

Regional and Purchase Location Considerations:

  • For iPhone Users: Please be aware that eSIM is not supported on all iPhone models purchased in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. Specifically, iPhones 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, 11 series, XS Max and XR. However, the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE (2nd Gen) and iPhone XS purchased in Hong Kong and Macau do support eSIM.

  • For Pixel Users: Only Google Pixel 2 devices with active Google Fi service are able to utilize eSIM with Wundle Mobile. Please note that the Pixel 3 purchased in Australia, Taiwan, or Japan, as well as the Pixel 3 on contract with US/Canadian providers (excluding Sprint or Google Fi) and the Pixel 3a with Verizon service in Southeast Asia, are not eSIM compatible.

  • For Samsung Users: eSIM is not supported on Samsung S20 series, Samsung Galaxy S21 5G series, and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G devices from the United States. Further, Samsung Note 20 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 from the US or Hong Kong do not support eSIM.

- eSIM Activation Instructions -

Once you have completed your purchase and completed the welcome form we have sent you via email, wait for your esim voucher to be sent to you via email.

  1. Open the email on another device than your phone & use your  phone camera to scan the QR code.

  2. Once the esim says 'activating', send us an email @ info@wundle.ca so that we can complete the activation with you.

  3. The Esim is now active under the temporary number until your number gets ported in. 

  4. You will then receive a text notification (within 24-48 business hours) on your old provider sim card to authorize the transfer.

  5. Once you have responded to the text, your previous service will drop and the number will be transferred to the new ESIM.

  6. If you encounter any issues, please make sure to restart the device entirely.

Please note, it is important that your number must be active to port it in and that the account number from your old provider is provided on the form.
